Itinerary

Day 1Casablanca

After your Arrival in Casablanca Airport, you will meet your driver and guide and transfer to the hotel, after it you will have a meeting with your guide who will explain to you the trip features, and if time allows it you will have a visit of Hassan 2 Mosque. Day 2: From Casablanca to Rabat

Day 2From Casablanca to Rabat

The start of your tour will starts from Casablanca to the imperial city of Rabat, the current capital of the kingdom. You will have the opportunity to visit Kasbah des Oudayas and the beautiful Chellah

Day 3From Rabat to Chefchaouen

We will continue our journey from Rabat to Chefchaouen, a very small yet picturesque town located in the Rif Mountains. you will have a guided visit in this town in the afternoon.

Day 4Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen is a town full of wonder, so you can discover the on a free day or you can simply go for an optional hike with your guide in the Rif Mountains surrounding Chefchaouen, or instead have a visit to Homir village and have lunch there with a Rifian family, which sounds to be the best option if you are looking forward to get an idea about what the cultivate and their way of life.

Day 5From Chefchaouen to Fes

Early in the morning, we will leave the Rif Mountains and head up to the Imperial City of Fes. Drive via Roman ruins of Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and then arriving at Meknes, where you will be able to visit the old city center and the famous mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

Day 6Fes

Today we will have the chance to explore the ancient medina of Fes. Your city guide will take you on a wonderful city tour around the old medina, through its windy little streets and tanneries, the Quranic school, and al-Qarawiyyin mosque, you will spend the most rewarding day.

Day 7From Fes to Midelt

Today we will go on a drive from Fes to Midelt also known as the Apple City thanks to its tasty apples, it is a small town located in the heart of the Berber Middle Atlas Mountains. While traveling you will go through Azrou and Ifrane and you will be amazed by the beauty of its cedar forests.

Day 8From Midelt to Todgha

Today we will continue our journey from Midelt to the Todgha Gorges, via the stunning region of Imilchil. This area is very interesting and rich for its traditional Berber culture and the Berber tribes still living here. You will also have a walk in the Todgha canyon in the afternoon.

Day 9From Todgha Gorges to Zagora

Today we will leave the beautiful Todgha and head up the Draa valley, during our travel we will drive via Alnif and Tazzarine and we will go through the Saghru Mountains, a place where many nomads still live. In the Afternoon we will find ourselves in Zagora and you will be amazed by the beauty of this small oasis that has an interesting old city center.

Day 10From Zagora to Erg Chegaga

Today we will leave Zagora and head up to Erg Chegaga and drive through M’hamid el Ghezlane and even further till we reach the spectacular dunes of Erg Chegaga. On the way, we will have a visit of the Zaouia of Tamegroute and the pottery makers. We will then enjoy a beautiful evening in the desert camp and a camel ride. We will spend the night under the stars in the Erg Chegaga dunes.

Day 11From Erg Chegaga to Tata

In order to take full advantage of your trip you should wake up early in the morning and witness the beauty of the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chegaga, a beautiful and relaxing sight! After a tasty breakfast, we will continue to Foum Zguid and then to Tata.

Day 12From Tata to Tafraoute

Today we will leave Tata and take the road to Tafraoute, in the Anti Atlas Mountains. Now we have entered the deep south and we will enjoy the spectacular scenery along the way. While passing by Tata, and the other small villages your guide will tell you all about the Saharian Berber life in this area. You will also have a visit to what people of the area call an Agadir (not Agadir the city) which is a fortified and communal granary still being used in this part of the country to store people’s valuables.

Day 13Tafraoute

We will spend our day hiking in the Ammeln valley of Tafraoute, very rich with its beautiful almond trees and many Berber hamlets to the steep walls of the valley. you will have a free afternoon in town, where you can see the traditional production of the famous Belgha (traditional shoe) of Tafraoute

Day 14From Tafraoute to Essaouira

Today we drive from Tafraoute to the small yet very beautiful town of Essaouira, via Agadir and the scenic coastal route. This charming little town is known for its relaxed vibes and interesting history that will steal your heart! You will have a quick tour in the city and free time to stroll its streets.

Day 15Essaouira

Essaouira is without any doubt a great town to relax! Known for its fresh seafood and wonderful restaurant. It is also home to many little bars where the tunes of reggae and sub-Saharan music and food. You will also have an optional visit of the silver cooperative and Jewish cemetery.

Day 16From Essaouira to Marrakech

Today we will leave at any time you want Essaouira and head up to enjoy the free afternoon in Marrakech.

Day 17Marrakech

While in this city you will enjoy a half-day city tour in the morning with your guide. You will have the opportunity to visit Marrakech’s historic monuments (Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Jemaa el-Fna square and the Koutoubia mosque). And why not enjoy the exploration of the souks on your own in the free afternoon.

Day 18Departure day from Marrakech (or Casablanca)

How can I book a tour?

You can book one of our exemplary tour itineraries, day excursions, or tailor made tours by contacting us via phone, email or our contact form on the website. After we confirm the availability of your tour to you (in writing) we ask you to pay a non-refundable 25% deposit of the total tour cost to finalize your booking.

We send you the details on how to pay this deposit and the rest of the balance by email. We generally give you the flexibility to either pre-pay the rest of the balance by bank transfer within two weeks prior to the start of your tour, or settle it in cash by paying the final balance to your driver / guide on the first morning of your tour. Please let us know what you prefer upon booking and we can agree an arrangement.

What happens in case of cancellation?

In case of cancellation, we wish to receive a written notification from you. Your cancellation is effective on the date we receive your notification. The following charges are applicable upon cancellation:

cancellation 30 days or more before start date – loss of 25% deposit;
booking cancellation between 29 and 10 days before start date – 75% of total tour cost;
cancellation less than 10 days before start date – 100% of total tour cost.
Cancellation charges may be covered by your insurance policy, you can check this with your insurance provider.
