Our Morocco tour packages run from a 3-day Atlas Mountains trek to an 18-day journey across the whole country. Every trip has a certified English-speaking guide and a driver in an air-conditioned vehicle. It includes nights in riads, kasbahs and a desert camp, and the itinerary can be changed to suit you. How to choose your Morocco tour

Short trips: 3 to 4 days

Good if you’re staying in Marrakech and have a few days to spare.

• Atlas Mountains Trek: Berber Villages & Valleys (3 days): walking between Berber villages in the High Atlas, with nights in mountain guesthouses.
• Southern Morocco Discovery (4 days): from Marrakech over the Tizi n’Tichka pass, through the Dades Valley and Todra Gorge, to a night in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Returns via Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. The shortest way to sleep in the Sahara.
• Marrakech City Tour: the medina, souks and palaces with a local guide.

About a week: 8 to 10 days

The most popular length. It gives you the imperial cities and the Sahara without rushing.

• The Highlights of Morocco (8 days): Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis and Fes, then a night in the Merzouga dunes, Todra Gorge and Ait Ben Haddou. Ends in Marrakech.
• Sahara Desert Tours Morocco (8 days): a desert-focused route with a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at Merzouga.
• Morocco Desert Tour & the High Atlas (9 days): a round trip from Marrakech through Zagora, the Erg Chigaga dunes, Tata and Tafraoute, ending on the coast in Essaouira.
• Honeymoon Celebration Tour (10 days): a slower trip for couples from Marrakech, with luxury riads, the Ourika Valley, the Toubkal foothills and the coast at Essaouira.

Two weeks or more

For a first visit where you want to see the whole country, north to south.

• Ultimate Morocco Tour (15 days): Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Fes, the Merzouga dunes, Ait Ben Haddou, Marrakech and Essaouira. Starts in Casablanca, Rabat or Tangier.
• The Authentic Morocco Tour: Culture & Traditions: Fes, the Erg Chebbi dunes, Todra Gorge, the Imlil mountain villages and Essaouira, with more time for Berber communities, crafts and local markets.
• Morocco’s Hidden Gems (18 days): our longest route, from Chefchaouen and Fes to the remote Erg Chigaga dunes, then on to Tata, Tafraoute and Essaouira.

Which desert: Erg Chebbi or Erg Chigaga?

Morocco has two big dune fields, and our tours visit both.

Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) has the tallest, most photographed dunes, and you can get there on paved roads. It’s the better choice for a first trip, for families and for shorter routes.

Erg Chigaga (near M’Hamid) is wilder and quieter. The last stretch is off-road, and you’ll see far fewer other travellers. It suits people who have been before or want real remoteness.

On both, you ride a camel to camp in the late afternoon, have dinner and Berber music under the stars, and watch the sunrise over the dunes.

Private tour or small group?

Private tours are just you and your travel companions, with your own guide and driver. You choose the start date, the pace and the hotels, and we can change the route before or during the trip.

Small-group tours leave on fixed dates, and you share the vehicle with other travellers. They cost less per person and are a good choice for solo travellers.

How much does a Morocco tour cost?

Prices depend on trip length, group size and the level of accommodation you choose. Per-person prices go down as your group gets bigger. Send us your dates and group size, and we’ll reply with an exact quote.

When is the best time for a Morocco tour?

• March to May: the best season overall. The weather is warm and the Atlas valleys are green.
• September to November: another excellent season, with comfortable desert temperatures.
• June to August: very hot in the Sahara and Marrakech, but cooler in the mountains and on the coast.
• December to February: cold desert nights and possible snow in the High Atlas, but fewer crowds.

Yes. Every tour can be adjusted: add a night, swap a city, or start from a different airport. Tell us what you’d like when you book.

Where do the tours start?

Most tours start in Marrakech or Casablanca. Some can also start in Fes, Rabat or Tangier. We pick you up at your hotel or the airport.

Are the tours suitable for children?

Yes. Most tours are rated easy and accept children from age 4. Our guides adjust the pace and driving times for families.

Is Morocco safe for tourists?

How long are the drives?

On desert routes, expect 4 to 7 hours on the longest days, with stops for photos, lunch and short walks.

What kind of accommodation will I stay in?

Traditional riads in the cities, kasbah hotels in the valleys and a desert camp in the dunes. Tell us if you want to upgrade to luxury camps or boutique riads.

Can I travel solo?

Yes. You can book a private tour for one person or join a small-group departure, which is usually the cheaper option for solo travellers.
